The prices are great. The only things better than the prices are the food and the service. OUTSTANDING! We went there twice during our stay. Can't wait to go again

Old-fashioned 50's/60's style diner, family-owned and operated. Best breakfast in East TN and the most reasonably priced. My favorite - a plate of griddle-fried potatoes with a scoop of sausage gravy poured over, an order of sausage, two eggs, and a cup of coffee - $7.00. Breakfast served all day, except for the gravy. They make a batch fresh every morning (except Sunday, closed) and when it's gone, it's gone. The owner comes in prior to opening, and makes the gravy and fresh homemade biscuits daily.

First time in, bacon/cheeseburger was fabulous. I added fresh onion rings, excellent choice. Nice long diner counter, clean place. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Very enjoyable local restaurant for breakfast or lunch. You will not be disappointed.

I've driven by this diner for years and never wanted to try it out. To be honest it just looked like a greasy spoon from the road. I saw the rave reviews on yelp and decided to give it a try despite my trepidation. Let me tell you this place has unmatched atmosphere. The folks who work here are sincere and they want people who stop in to have a good experience. I was very impressed with their attitude and work ethic. The prices are very reasonable. I couldn't believe what I was seeing on the menu. They actually list a small cheeseburger for 95 cents. I got a big cheeseburger for about 5 dollars. I was so busy eating I forgot to take a picture. Sorry guys. I also ordered small fries for 1 dollar and 50 cents. This place is like a time capsule. I'm glad I chose to take a chance. I should also also mention this diner is cash only.

A tasty lunch with Janis on the Juke and a hot cocoa for that midday chill! I still love this local hot spot when looking for a quick bite at a local diner. The waitresses are nice and quick. The bill is always cheap. What more can ya ask for?
